DV Lottery costs: official fees vs. paid preparation
Government registration charges and private preparation fees are different costs. A federal final rule establishes a $1 electronic DV registration fee. Buying our preparation help is optional and does not pay that government fee or improve your chance of selection.
The official registration fee is separate from our service.
The Department of State's 2025 final fee rule establishes a $1 electronic Diversity Visa registration fee, collected through an authorized U.S. government payment portal at registration. The Federal Register lists September 16, 2025 as the rule's effective date. The rule describes intended implementation 30 days after publication; current-year official instructions govern the registration process and payment steps.
You can prepare and submit your own entry at dvprogram.state.gov during the official registration period without buying our service. Follow the Department of State instructions for the DV year you intend to enter.
Check current official fees, document requirements, registration dates, and payment instructions before applying. A fee rule does not mean a registration window is open. Selection begins a separate visa process with further costs and does not guarantee approval.
Our fees pay for private preparation support.
Green Card Application Services charges one-time preparation fees in U.S. dollars. These are not government fees and do not include the official registration charge. Support includes organizing information and documents, photo review, manual review, and authorized submission assistance under our service terms.
Single — $24 USD
Preparation support for one applicant.
Couple — $44 USD
Preparation support for two applicants, commonly eligible spouses.
Family — $64 USD
Preparation support for up to three applicants, including review of relevant family details.
Premium — $94 USD
Preparation support with priority review and a Zoom review call when available. Completion time is not guaranteed.
Check the package scope and price shown before checkout. The number of applicants in a package does not change which spouse or children must be listed under official DV rules. A family member listed on an entry is not automatically eligible to enter separately.
Government and other later expenses are separate.
If selected, you may face government visa or immigration-processing fees, medical examination and vaccination costs, document or translation charges, and travel expenses. These are not included in our preparation packages.
The applicable charges depend on the process and your circumstances. Verify current government fees and payment instructions with the Department of State, the relevant U.S. embassy or consulate, or USCIS if pursuing an applicable process in the United States. Confirm medical costs with the designated medical provider. Do not budget from an old fee list.
Paying cannot improve your lottery odds.
No private service can buy selection, reserve a visa, waive eligibility requirements, or guarantee a green card. Our service is not affiliated with USCIS, the Department of State, or any U.S. government agency, and we do not provide legal advice.
Payment does not open the official registration window or count as a submitted entry. Official submission requires complete information, suitable photos, and your final approval during the government registration period. Delays or technical problems can prevent submission.
Avoid duplicate entries. Do not submit another complete entry for the same person in the same DV year through a second service or on your own. Tell us before preparation if an entry has already been submitted. Duplicate entries can cause disqualification; paying twice does not create another valid chance.
Understand payment and refund terms first.
The website sends your preparation request before opening Stripe-hosted checkout. Reaching Stripe does not confirm that your request or files were received. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers. Never send card details through the request form or email.
Keep your payment receipt. It is not the official DV confirmation page or confirmation number. Contact support if you need to confirm receipt or next steps; there is no customer dashboard or online request-status portal.
Under the Refund and Cancellation Policy, purchases are generally final and non-cancellable once payment is completed. A change of mind, choosing to apply independently, or not being selected is not by itself a reason for a refund.
The policy allows consideration for duplicate charges, inability to provide the purchased service because of an issue within our reasonable control, material non-delivery, or refunds required by law. There are no routine partial refunds. Priority-service fees are non-refundable once the specified priority work or scheduled Zoom review has begun or been provided. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain protected. Read the full policy before purchasing; this summary does not replace it.
A short checklist before you pay.
- Check current official eligibility and registration instructions.
- Decide whether to apply directly or buy optional preparation help; government fees are separate either way.
- Confirm that no entry has already been submitted for you for that DV year.
- Review the package scope, price, and refund terms.
- Ask support about any unclear family details or language needs before purchasing.
For preparation details, read the DV Lottery guide and how the request and review process works.
